We are beyond thrilled to share that the moment we’ve all been eagerly awaiting is finally here — the launch of the Voi mainnet!
This marks a monumental milestone in our journey, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the relentless support, belief, and contributions from our incredible community.
From the outset, Voi has been a project built on the principle that the true value of a blockchain lies not in the technology alone, but in the community and ecosystem it empowers.
Together, we’ve demonstrated what a community-driven, value-focused ecosystem can achieve during our testnet phase, and now, we’re ready to take the next giant leap forward.
A Staggering Success: Reflecting on the Testnet Journey
Before we dive into the mainnet rollout plan, let’s take a moment to reflect on the staggering success we’ve achieved together during the testnet:
- Community Growth: Our community has flourished with over 47,000 Twitter followers and over 23,000 Discord members.
- Active Participation: The Voi network saw a peak of more than 4,000 concurrent online and voting nodes during Phase 2 of the incentivised testnet.
- Real People, Real Impact: Kibisis wallet installations sit at over 17,000, signifying a robust and authentic user base of real individuals utilizing the network. This number doesn’t even include numbers from the other 3 wallet options available to users.
- Launched Projects: 25+ community-built projects, including DEXes, wallets, launchpads, marketplaces, and more, have already been launched on Voi. Few L1s have left a testnet phase with so many projects already live, underscoring the strength and capabilities of our ecosystem and community of builders.
- Governance and Committees: Hundreds of individuals are actively engaged in community committees, playing a crucial role in shaping Voi’s governance. We’ve transitioned from a testnet council to a fully-fledged mainnet council, setting a new standard for community governance in the blockchain space.
- Earned Distribution: With 75% of the entire token supply reserved for the community, the success of the testnet has ensured that tokens will be in the hands of those who add the most value, securing the long-term health and growth of the Voi ecosystem.
These achievements are not just impressive — they place Voi on par with, or even ahead of, many existing multibillion-dollar L1 networks. This is a testament to the power of a truly community-driven blockchain.
Voi Mainnet Rollout Plan
We’re now ready to transition to mainnet, and here’s what you can expect:
September 12 — Phase 1
- Genesis event. Mainnet rollout begins.
The genesis marks the official birth of our mainnet, a pivotal moment in the Voi journey.
September 16
- Testnet Phase 2 Ends
Testnet phase 2 officially ends. Nodes should prepare to transition to mainnet operations the following day. - Incentivized Testnet Eligibility Registration Deadline
Last day to register for airdrop eligibility. All Phase 2 users must register by this date to qualify for the upcoming airdrop.

September 17
- Mainnet Bootstrap Airdrop
Airdrop for Testnet Participants. Participants will receive a small airdrop to cover the costs associated with configuring their incentivized testnet airdrop lockup contract and enabling go online transactions for nodes. - Node Migration
Transition from testnet to mainnet. Users can begin migrating their testnet nodes to mainnet, taking the next step towards securing the Voi blockchain. - Incentivized Testnet Airdrop Lockup Contracts Launched
Contracts for eligible participants are launched. Participants can configure their lockup periods through the official website, ensuring they will receive their bonus. - Pre-Block Reward incentives start
Node runners are able to earn a bonus airdrop for running their nodes before all airdrop contracts are funded and can be staked on the network.
September 25
- Incentivized Testnet Airdrop Lockup Contracts Configuration Deadline
Final day to configure lockup periods. Ensure your lockup periods are set by this date to receive a bonus.
September 26 — Phase 2
- Exchange Listings Begin
Voi tokens start trading. The first exchange listing goes live, followed by subsequent listings as outlined by our separate exchange roadmap. - DeFi Liquidity Bootstrapping
Launch of DeFi liquidity pools. We are bootstrapping liquidity in decentralized exchanges to ensure a robust market for Voi tokens.
September 30
- Week 1 of Staking Lockup
Highest staking bonus available. Lock up your tokens this week to receive the highest possible staking bonus.
October 7
- Week 2 of Staking Lockup
Second highest staking bonus available. This week offers the second-best bonus for staking your tokens.
October 14
- Week 3 of Staking Lockup
Third highest staking bonus available. Stake your tokens during this week for a solid bonus.
October 21
- Week 4 of Staking Lockup
Fourth highest staking bonus available. The final week to lock up your tokens with a bonus.
October 28 — Phase 3
- Fund Incentivized Testnet Airdrop Contracts
Airdrop contracts funded. Countdown begins for lockup & vesting. These contracts can now be staked on nodes. - Fund Staking Lockup Contracts
Staking contracts funded. Countdown begins for lockup & vesting. These contracts can now be staked on nodes. - Fund Ambassadors Contracts
Ambassadors contracts funded. Vesting starts for tokens earned during Phase 2. These contracts can now be staked on nodes. - Fund Relay Runners Contracts
Relay Runners contracts funded. Vesting begins for tokens earned during Phase 2. These contracts can now be staked on nodes. - Fund Moderators Contracts
Moderator contracts funded. Vesting starts for tokens earned during Phase 2. These contracts can now be staked on nodes. - Fund Transition Node Runners Contracts
Transition Node Runners contracts funded. Vesting begins for tokens earned during node migration to mainnet. These contracts can now be staked on nodes.
October 30
- Block Rewards Start
Block rewards initiation. A small time gap is left between contract funding and block rewards to allow users to go online with their locked up and vesting tokens.

Please be aware that all dates provided are estimated and subject to change. While we aim to stick to this timeline, unforeseen events could arise, potentially pushing back these milestones.
