Testnet Phase 2 Airdrop Allocation & Lockup Bonus Program Announcement

We are excited to announce the conclusion of Testnet Phase 2 and introduce the extended opportunities for participants to earn rewards and contribute to the growth of the Voi network.
This announcement covers details about the airdrop allocation, the Lockup Bonus Program, and important updates, including the extended eligibility registration and mainnet migration.
Important Dates & Timeline
September 16th
Testnet Phase 2 Ended
Testnet Phase 2 has officially concluded. Participants should now ensure their migration to mainnet is completed so that they can earn pre-block reward incentives for running nodes.
Extended Eligibility Registration
We have extended the eligibility registration deadline to give more participants the chance to qualify for the airdrop. You can still register and link your Voi addresses to boost your airdrop allocation, as well as provide proof of humanity.

September 25th
- Incentivized Testnet Airdrop Lockup Contracts Configuration Deadline
The final day to configure your lockup periods. Ensure your settings are completed by this date to receive your bonus lockup rewards.

October 28th
- Fund Incentivized Testnet Airdrop Contracts
Airdrop contracts will be funded, and the countdown begins for the lockup and vesting period. These contracts can now be staked on nodes and earn block rewards.
Airdrop Allocation Details
We have allocated a specific portion of Voi tokens to reward participants of Testnet Phase 2. This allocation recognizes your efforts in contributing to the stability and growth of the Voi network.
- Total Allocation: For Testnet Phase 2, 1.0% of the total supply, amounting to 100MM $Voi tokens, is allocated for airdrop distribution. These tokens come from the Early Incentives allocation.
- Distribution Method: Tokens will be distributed based on the points accrued by participants during Testnet Phase 2. Your share of the airdrop will be proportional to the total number of points earned.
- Token Multiplier for Registration: Participants who register by the new extended deadline will receive a multiplier on their tokens, enhancing their airdrop allocation.
- Minimum Points Requirement: To qualify for the airdrop, participants must have accrued a minimum number of points during Testnet Phase 2. This ensures that only active and contributing members are rewarded.
- Snapshot Data: A snapshot taken on September 16th will determine eligibility and ensure accurate token distribution. This data will be reviewed to ensure fair distribution and to prevent gaming of the system and removal of Sybils.
Lockup Bonus Program Details
To further incentivize participation and long-term commitment, we are introducing the Lockup Bonus Program for Testnet Phase 2 participants.
This program allows you to lock up your airdrop tokens for additional benefits.
- Lockup Periods: Participants can choose from various lockup durations, ranging from 1 to 5 years. Longer lockup periods will provide higher bonus rates. Configure your lockup duration at the official staking website.
https://staking.voi.network/ - Compounding Interest: Earn up to 20% compounding annual interest on locked-up tokens. The bonus will be instantly available once the contract is funded on October 28th and can be staked alongside your airdrop allocation to increase block rewards during the lockup period.
- Immediate Bonus Allocation: Once the contract is funded, the bonus is credited immediately, enabling you to stake these tokens and start earning additional block rewards right away.
Lockup Bonus Estimator: Use the lockup bonus estimator below to help calculate your potential rewards based on your chosen lockup duration and estimated airdrop.
If you earned 50K tokens and locked up for 5 years you would end up receiving 124K tokens on the 28th October. The full 124K tokens are able to be staked on your node which will boost your block rewards vs only having 50K tokens available to stake if you don’t lockup at all.

Vesting Period
To ensure sustained commitment and network stability, a 12-month vesting period applies to all airdropped tokens, including those with a 0-year lockup period. This vesting period is mandatory to align with our long-term goals, ensuring that even if you choose not to lock up your tokens, there is still a commitment to the network’s future.
How to Maximise Rewards
- Register and Link Your Voi Addresses: Visit https://voirewards.com/accounts to register and link your addresses for airdrop eligibility.
- Provide Proof of Humanity: Ensure you complete the proof of humanity process via the #phase2 method to boost your airdrop allocation.
- Configure Your Lockup Periods: Visit the staking website at https://staking.voi.network/ to select your lockup duration and configure your lockup settings by September 25th to receive bonus rewards.
- Transition Your Node Immediately: Mainnet migration has begun. Transition your node to mainnet immediately to start earning a share of the pre-block reward incentives.
- Stake Your Tokens: Use your locked tokens and the earned bonus and stake them on your node, increasing your block rewards and contributing to the network’s security.
- Monitor Updates: Stay engaged with official Voi communication channels for updates, further instructions, and opportunities.
